Meet Layla Miller. Layla is a special Sim. She may be clumsy and moderately overweight, but she loves children, loves cooking up dishes for herself and others, and loves meeting other Sims. She lives with her sister Sharon, Sharon’s husband Rick and their brand new baby.

Rick enjoyed a wide range of activities, but his biggest passion was computer games:

Anyway, Layla was lonely. She likes living with her sister and her sister’s family and all, but she longs for her own family one day. She is especially close to her niece.

Layla definitely has some faults. Most obviously, she is severely overweight and suffers from binge-eating disorder. Her favorite thing to consume is ice-cream.

Anyway, Layla once had a serious boyfriend, but he dumped her after her weight shot up to an all-time high. Layla was devastated, but was determined to get out there and meet someone new. She also was secretly and very deeply in love with her sister’s husband Rick! Layla longed for Rick to pay some attention to her. The problem was, Rick and Sharon were the ‘perfect’ couple. They seemed to be really happy together:

But what Sharon didn’t know is that Rick would go online to chat with other women once Sharon was asleep.

Layla, however, knew about Rick’s online habit, and figured that he must be unhappy with Sharon. It gave her hope, so she started to chat him up, more and more often. Perhaps if he got too unhappy with Sharon, he would leave her for Layla? Layla knew it was horrible of her to want her sister’s marriage to break up, but she couldn’t help her feelings.

Layla decided to be bold one night, and asked Rick if he was meeting women on the internet. Rick did not respond so well… he was very angry at Layla!

Layla was devastated and horrified. Rick was mad at her! What was she to do now?

She apologized repeatedly over the next few days. Once Rick didn’t seem so mad, Layla offered to treat him to dinner one night when Sharon was working late. Rick agreed, and they shared a nice meal at a local restaurant. Rick and Layla had a fun time together, and even ended the night with a hug!

Layla was so excited. She just knew that Rick was interested in her. She knew that the way to a male Sim’s heart was through a good meal, so she resolved to learn even more exotic recipes. Night after night, she studied her cookbook.

She knew she would do whatever it took to get Rick…

Meet the Thomas family… there is Jones Thomas, which you all have already met. Then there is his wife Jennie who loves cooking and family. Their have two teenagers: the older red head Alice and the younger blonde Emily. Alice got her cooking skills for her mother & insanity from her father, and Emily loves reading books.

Things have gone from bad to worse in the Thomas household since we last saw Jones… first of all, Jones got motivated enough to start trying to fulfill his lifetime aspiration of dating 10 Sims at once. Needless to say his wife Jennie hasn’t been too happy about it. The kids meanwhile started to act out and do weird things.

It hasn’t been easy for Jones, what with his anti-social personality and all! But he figured if he started pumping iron he could attract a hottie. He started frequenting the 24-hour gym only a few blocks from his house.

There were a few hits and misses, but he finally scored with a blond vixen: Blair Wainwright. She finally gave into his charms after multiple phone calls and a few awkward moments in the gym. One night she even met him for a secret date in the midtown park.

Blair didn’t seem to care that Jones was married; however, she made it a point never to visit the house when Jennie was home.

The pair met for secret trysts and rendezvous in quiet parks around town.

Jones was ecstatic that he finally found someone that liked his crazy personality. Blair didn’t seem to mind that he had occasional strange outbursts of evil insanity. He plotted his next move over whether he should take their relationship to the next level, or start a second affair with another Sim.

Meanwhile, Jennie was furious. After all, she put up with years of his evil and incredibly inappropriate behavior. She started accusing him of cheating on her, which of course Jones denied hotly.

Jennie had a job in a Chef’s kitchen and was moving up the cooking career ladder quickly. She spent lots of lonely nights at home studying recipes and cookbooks while her husband was out philandering all over town.

Jennie decided to get crafty in her revenge… she started making Jones non-vegetarian meals, which she knew would make him sick for hours and keep him home at night. She lied and told him she was making tofu-dogs and veggie burgers, when in reality it was real meat she was using.

Jones never seemed to know the difference until it was too late and he was sick. And he fell for it time and time again.
